**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Primary responsibility is the smooth running of technology throughout the show and fast-paced troubleshooting.
- Setup and perform a thorough rig-check of the entire venue, identify and fix technical issues.
- Operate the show control system that underpins the whole experience and ensure customers remain fully immersed throughout.
- Troubleshoot technical issues before and during the live experience.
- Perform scheduled maintenance of the show’s equipment to keep everything operating at peak performance levels - working closely with the Senior Technical Manager to report major issues.
- Working between departments to support the overall guest experience and efficiency of the venue.
- Provide clear communication via on-site comms, logging forms and handover sheets.
**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Extensive working knowledge in at least two technical disciplines such as lighting, sound, video/projection, show control systems and special effects. (ETC, Qlab, Dante, Networking)
- Experience working in live events.
- Experience in successfully managing a technical team.
- A strong health and safety focus to ensure the necessary procedures and maintenance routines are being adhered to.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment - our customers move rooms every 12 minutes so timing is key
- A pragmatic problem solver - things don’t always go to plan and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable thinking on the spot.
- A hands on attitude - this role is pivotal to the success of the experience and we’ll need people who are willing to get stuck in to keep the show running to a high standard.
- A passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences, strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in updating SOPs and other documentation with show changes, troubleshooting and maintenance routines.
- Ability to learn and acknowledge information in a short time frame.
- Professional, dependant & reliable individual who wants to work in a fantastic team.
**THE ROLE**
- Full-time
- Varied shifts (including daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Conversational French and English is a must, Dutch is a bonus
