As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the development and management of our operations capabilities and customer excellence in Belgium and Netherlands. Your contributions will be essential in providing outstanding experience for our customers.

**Role Responsibilities**

**Business Development**:

- Identify prime locations for new owned locations or Hubs by analyzing potential, costs, expected revenue return, and operating margins.
- Negotiate rent, service providers, and advertising for these new locations.
- Collaborate with operation Product Managers to oversee the end-to-end launch of new locations, including operational launch, inauguration, and initial promotions.
- Support the discovery, testing, and launch of new products at Hubs (e.g., ATM, VAT refund, etc.).

**Growing** **Existing Location Revenue**:

- Supervise day-to-day operations, security, and cash control management to recommend and implement procedures for improved efficiency.
- Manage operational relationships with local vendors such as CIT companies, physical security providers, and utility services.
- Lead and develop the location's workforce, ensuring their growth, motivation, and performance meet operational standards.
- Maintain communication with the Head of Farming, staff, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touchpoints.
- Oversee P&L management, consistently seeking opportunities to optimize costs and increase revenue. - Collaborate with inside sales to establish appropriate pricing strategies for increased volume and revenue acceleration.
- Conduct tests on new products and features, gather customer feedback, and address any issues impacting performance or deviating from quality standards.
- Elevate awareness of the Western Union store and brand by developing innovative marketing strategies and promotions aimed at achieving targets and goals.

**Role Requirements**
- You will have solid experience in Operations within a FinTech or payments and/or retail banking or financial consulting field.
- Track record of working across operations, product, technology, and risk/compliance to achieve the best customer experience outcomes.
- Experience with process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Proven experience managing projects across multiple departments and stakeholders, with the ability to break large tasks into smaller ones that can be planned, budgeted, monitored, and tracked.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at various levels internally and externally.
- Fluency in French and English is required, Dutch is a plus.
