**Project Manager Steam**:
Following the introduction of steam boilers to the fleet of Atlas Copco Rental Europe 4 years ago, the rental business of steam solutions has been growing exponentially and so has the complexity of the projects in which steam is involved.

As Steam Boiler Project Manager, you will support temporary steam boiler rental projects, being involved from concept implementation to conclusion.

Your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assist business in the technical steam solutions
- Gathering the technical information needed to clarify projects, in co-operation with Sales Engineers
- Assist European sales teams with project delivery
- Define the proper selection of equipment, ancillaries, logistics and service support and coordinate with our European boiler organization to fully satisfy our customer needs
- Coordinate with notified bodies, to ensure all equipment is supplied in accordance with local legislation
- Manage ongoing projects via site visits, ensuring client requests are met in a timely manner
- Control the proper preparation of equipment, spare parts, and consumables
- Consult and coordinate with external service providers (carriers, crane operators, inspection bodies, pipe fitters, etc.)
- Follow-up of project delivery remotely and on-site
- Support service engineers by provision of documents/extra resource & equipment
- Manage the administration of the temporary steam projects incl. manuals, certificates, P&ID’s etc

**Experience requirements**

To succeed in this position, experience within the steam boiler industry as well as (electro)-mechanical engineering knowledge are required.

Relevant project management experience is essential.

**Knowledge**
- Knowledge of the steam boiler industry
- Technical knowledge of steam boilers and their relevant legislative requirements
- Ability to manage projects
- Good analytical and organisational skills
- Solid understanding and interpretation of technical drawings and diagrams. Ability to read / create technical & project drawings in AutoCAD
- Maintain clear focus on customer satisfaction; take action when needed to meet or exceed the expectations of the customer
- Awareness of the link between this role and the business, and act accordingly

**Educational requirements**

Bachelor or Master in electromechanical engineering, certified accreditation within the boiler industry is a plus

**Personality requirements**
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management personnel
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communicational skills
- A self-starter, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality
- Competent and confident with the ability to work with little supervision. The ability to modify style in order to achieve results and maintain effectiveness. Reliable, tolerant, and determined.

**Country and city description**

Preferably Belgium based (Boom, Antwerp), but not mandatory

**Additional information**

Willingness to travel within Europe, spending nights away from home
