As the Operations Manager Rental Europe, you are the driving force behind our entire business strategy and, consequently, our success. You will continue to align and manage our fleet, logistics, service, and project departments, ensuring they run seamlessly and effectively. Like a well-oiled machine.

Digitalization and Operational Excellence are crucial pillars in developing the different departments and teams within Operations. Your teams play a critical role in supporting the entire organization’s growth.

You are part of the Central Management Team and report to the General Manager of Rental Europe. You lead a team of Managers who are responsible for all aspects of Rental operations and will work in close cooperation with the Regional Business Line Managers. You are the connection that ties Europe’s widespread Operations Organization together.

**Mission**:
Your mission will be improving our Divisional and European KPI’ by:

- Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and implemented, while focusing on synergies between operations departments (Service, Logistics, Fleet, Quality, Projects, Incubator, and Rental Desk).
- Promote and strengthen the regional service setup, providing our regional service supervisors with the tools, procedures and support they require to optimize the productivity of our European service workforce.
- Ensure maximum fleet utilization and efficiency.
- Make the rental fleet future -proof and tailored to customer demand.
- Securing the quality of our fleet and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Leading the way in change, operational excellence, and digitalization processes. In cooperation with the Key Business Users, you will be the advocate of IT tools that will provide efficiency gains and insight into operational KPI’s (SPARK, Control Tower, Power BI, ).
- Enable smooth cooperation between all actors and departments involved in Operations.

**Experience requirements**:

- You have an operational background in an international environment and know how to transform an organization towards increased efficiency and optimal performance (Operational Excellence).
- You demonstrate strong analytical skills, think outside the box (within a given framework), and always look for a better, more efficient way.
- A sense of urgency in doing business is essential.
- Experience in a Rental Organization, preferably with a European scope, is a plus. Strong leadership skills to cope with all level stakeholders across the organization.

**Knowledge and Education Requirements**:

- Technical or engineering oriented University degree or equivalent through experience.
- Strong computer literacy with solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite and SharePoint. Experience with an ERP system or workforce automation processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Atlas Copco compressors, gas purification products, generators or steam boilers.
- Fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
