We are currently looking to bring on board an IT Support Intern (In-Training) to join our IT Field Services Team located in Leuven, Belgium. This position serves as the initial point of contact for Donaldson’s IT customer support.

Job Purpose:
As our IT Support Intern, you will provide technical assistance to users on location, via the telephone, and/or via our communication system. At times, you will also enter calls into the department support call tracking database/system.

Utilizing basic technical knowledge, as the IT Support Intern, you will assist the team in supporting and handling basic issues with hardware, software, and related equipment. You will also be expected to escalate more complex support issues to the team supervisor/s.

The following will be your key responsibilities:
- Hardware installations / setting up desks for new employees, transfers, etc.- OS (Operating System) / Software deployment tasks.- Procurement task management of ICT hardware.- Ticket system handling (Service Now), responding, follow-up, etc.

Requirements To Access the Internship:
- To enable you to qualify as an Intern, you need to be currently studying OR finalizing your studies in Belgium where part of your degree requires you to do an internship and/or submit an end-of-year dissertation.- A 3-way contract will be required for this collaboration.- The internship is required for a minimum period of 3 months and can go up to 7 or 9 months depending on if you are able to work full-time (5 days a week) or part-time (a combination of working several full days and studying for the remaining days per week) in line with your study requirements.- This internship is non-remunerated in accordance with the Belgian legislation related to this topic.- You will be supervised and will be able to gain work experience with a training plan.- Performance appraisals and coaching if an end-of-year dissertation is required for your graduation.

**Profile**:
- Degree: you are in the process of obtaining a specialization, Bachelor or other in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Resources Management, Information Technology, or a closely related field.- Languages: fluent in English is requested, any additional language such as Dutch or another is a plus.- Ability to work well in teams.- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.- Proactive and customer-oriented.
