After-sales Manager

Your role
After-sales
- You
will ensure customer satisfaction by managing a team of 10 field engineer;
- You
maintain Glutton's image and reputation with customers;
- Together
with your team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machines
for customers;
- You
are the guarantor of the after-sales service policy in the field;
- You
organise your team to meet technical intervention deadlines (maintenance
contract or breakdown intervention);
- You
will be required to carry out certain tasks requiring a high level of
responsiveness;
- You
will be responsible to carry out some operations requiring a high level of
responsiveness; You will demonstrate creativity in order to come up with new
solutions to improve the after-sales service;
- You
will pass on all information from the field to the company's various
departments (Sales, R&D, Quality, etc.);
- You
ensure that work is properly tracked in SAP;
- You
are responsible for the after-sales spare parts stock;
- You
manage the technicians' tools and the fittings for the after-sales service
vans;
- You
provide technical support to the team of technicians and other departments
(mainly sales).
Sales
- You
will do everything possible to achieve the targets set by management;
- You
develop the after-sales service turnover;
- You
manage contacts and technical requests with distributors.
Management
- You
will manage and coach a team of around ten travelling technicians in Belgium,
France, Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg;
- You
will conduct assessment interviews with your team;
- You
will report the training needs of the technicians to the Human Resources
department;
- You
manage your team's meetings, mainly during the ERMs (large company meetings).
- Training
- You
train your technicians and sometimes our customers' technicians (local
authorities or export distributors) in Glutton® products;
- You
improve the digitisation of these training courses;
- You
provide occasional assistance or back-up for distributor training courses.
You will cooperate and communicate effectively
and transversally with the company's various departments.
**Profile**:
- You
have proven technical experience in mechanics, electricity, electronics and
hydraulics.
- You
speak Dutch, English and French. Knowledge of German or another language
is a plus.
- You
are able to understand how new technology works, both on your own and by
working with your colleagues.
- You
are able to take the initiative and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You
have management experience (managing a team of around 5-10 people).
- You've
already used an ERP system; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- You
are prepared to do some business travel (+/- 20% per year).
- You
are a good listener and a good communicator.
