Master Data Solution Manager

Plan and lead implementation of end-to-end supply chain master data automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify, assess business value, cycle-time savings, and successfully execute best technology solutions for the core processes. Technology solutions will include use of AI, RPA, data modeling and analytics to automate mundane, repetitive supply chain master data management tasks that also improve data quality and agility.
Bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions by translating business needs to technical solutions. Coordinate with take holders and execute plans to ensure technical and automation solutions meet the needs of the business. The solutions must comply with quality, compliance, regulatory, customer service, and financial controls.
Responsible for supporting ICMD process for Pfizer inter-company supply chains. This includes supporting BAU changes and changes resulting from network projects.
Coordinate with Pfizer Digital solution owners to maintain, audit, identify data gaps, and to add additional data (SAP, non-SAP) to UDH as required. Lead timely resolution of issues by working directly with ICMD SMEs and Pfizer Digital team.
Analyze core processes, identify automation improvement, plan, and manage end-to-end implementation of new solutions.
Develop and deploy data mining and analytics to monitor, benchmark, and enhance solutions for business needs, identifying root-causes and areas for improvement.
Identify Supply chain data relationships and trends, perform statistical analysis and implement machine learning algorithms for on-time and pro-active readiness of end-to-end master data, including predicting and forecasting potential gaps and delays.
Interface between the business and digital to leverage the full suite of Pfizer’s digital services and capabilities.
Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders on process CI opportunities and automation solutions. Collaborate to drive standards, best practices, solution innovation, future solution needs and keep current with industry trends.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Math Science, Data Science Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong experience in the use of analytical tools and methodology, and programming language
- Experience with Dataiku, AI Platforms, data lakes, Universal Data Hubs (UDH) highly valued
- Business process knowledge of pharmaceutical/healthcare supply chains financial flows, master data objects (i.e., materials, customers, vendors, routings)
- Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and within a multi-cultural environment, balancing needs of different stakeholders
- Strong teamwork orientation and ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization and across geographies
- Must be able to meet deadlines and produce results in a timely and accurate manner
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Potential travel requirements (international): 1 trip per year
Business travel as needed
Work closely with manufacturing Plants, External Supply teams, Logistics Centers & Logistic Organizations, Global Financial Services, Markets, Tax, VAT, Global Trade Compliance, Quality organizations, Global Master Data Management, GMX (Financial Controlling), IC Transfer Pricing team, PGS Finance, Finance Data Management (FDM), Digital/ERP Solutions & Deployment and other cross-functional data groups
Work closely with all IO global teams, GSC Brand and Portfolio Supply Leaders
