**Job Summary**:
As a Marketing Manager for the Alpine region (Austria and Switzerland) in the IS Cardiology Division, your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage and direct all marketing activities to achieve strategic and business objectives. You will play a crucial role in promoting our products/therapies and ensuring a significant market share and profitability.

**Key responsibilities**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers (Terumo Europe), sales and marketing management (your counterpart for EVI as well as downstream marketing manager), legal and regulatory affairs to ensure accurate and up-to-date product knowledge across the organization.
- Develop compelling sales support materials, such as brochures, presentations, and technical documents, to equip the IS Cardiology sales team with the necessary tools to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during customer interactions, including product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to align product marketing strategies and messaging, while also leveraging their expertise and resources to enhance local marketing initiatives.
- Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, sales support materials, and product positioning strategies. Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and drive business results.
**Marketing Plan**
- Develop an annual marketing plan for the ALPINE IS Cardiology sales team that aligns with the European strategic plan. This includes conducting environmental analysis, defining goals and objectives, projecting sales, gross profit, and market share, and creating sales support plans.
- Continuously monitor sales and profit forecasts and make necessary adjustments to the marketing strategy.
- Keep a vigilant eye on competitors, market needs, and trends for the assigned product group. Conduct market research, employ product marketing techniques, manage the marketing budget, and determine pricing strategies.
**Promotional Activities**
- Coordinate and execute marketing programs to launch or promote all new IS Cardiology products within the Alpine region.
- Initiate various marketing activities such as product promotions, mailings, advertising campaigns, workshops, and Advisory Board meetings to support the sales activities of the IS Cardiology team.
- Plan and organize all Alpine IS Cardiology Congresses, workshops, Terumo training days and product trials for the designated area.
- Analyse the market using feedback from the sales team, competitor information, and market research data.
- Contribute to the Terumo brand image by actively and effectively communicating with third parties, including participation in European and worldwide congresses.
- Conduct field evaluations of new products.
**Leadership**
- Lead and inspire the sales team by effectively influencing them during marketing campaigns, utilizing appropriate management styles.
- Establish Marketing objectives and develop a strategic plan to ensure that all sales individuals are informed and engaged. Support training initiatives to provide them with product and market knowledge, motivating the sales force and enhancing their skills for maximizing sales.
- Develop and oversee marketing activities to ensure the utilization and development of marketing skills and know-how within the team, fostering a cohesive and high-performing unit.
- Actively participate in monthly IS Cardiology management meetings and contribute to the seamless execution of all commercial activities. Assist the IS sales and marketing manager in the Alpine region (TEA & TSC).
- Provide regular monthly reports to local management and BU Marketing, covering marketing activities, market trends, and competitive analysis.
