Building on its reputation as manufacturer of architectural lighting, Delta Light has grown to become a trendsetter when it comes to lighting designs for residential, commercial and professional environments. Ranging from retail to residential, office, public, showrooms to hospitality and landscape projects, small to very large scale, Delta Light has the product range, experience and knowledge to meet the functional and aesthetic needs of your projects.

Over the years Delta Light established its growth based on in-house design, R&D, quality control, testing and production. From design to engineering and prototyping, all the way to production, packaging and stockingall is handled at the Delta Light headquarters in Belgium.
**Job description**
- Together with the Art Director you are responsible for the design of the new products of Delta Light
- You design products from A to Z: from an early sketch to prototype validation and this together with your more technical colleagues of the R&D team
- You look at your work from the point of view of the consumer/market and examine how the designs influence the lighting pleasure for each consumer
- You have a close dialogue with the owners of the company to create these products in the Delta Light style
- You challenge and deliver You ask the right questions and have a constructive mindset, keen on making the designs better and respecting the technical specs and deadlines
- You give a first technical draft of a concept, already based on cost/feasibility, that will be further explored in detail by your colleagues
- You have close contact with suppliers to be inspired by new materials and think outside the box
- You can push the boundaries of a concept with great design: restrictions of the design makes you go the extra mile and gives you extra energy
- You work in an innovative product design environment as part of a multidisciplinary team of technical engineers.

**Profile**
- Your heart beats hard for the Delta Light brand
- You have a degree in Architectural Design, Product development or Product design and at least 5 years of experience in a product designing environment. But even more than degrees: your life is filled with passion for design and lighting.
- You have good knowledge of various software tools, helping you bring your concepts to life.
- You’re on top of what’s trending - and keen on discovering what will be so tomorrow by exploring the lighting business and its connection to architecture / interior design
- You inspire your colleagues and the brand teams we work in
- You are open to feedback, but have confidence in your ideas and design decisions
- You’re hands-on and well organised
- You speak Dutch and English and you communicate clearly
- You are able to work independently and in a team
