As our new Head of Quality, you will be responsible for strategic and operational management of the quality system, manufacturing, QC testing, batch release-related and distribution-related quality activities. The scope of leadership encompasses oversight of GMP activities on site, as well as suppliers, testing laboratories and vendors the site partners with.

**Further key responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership, management and vision to ensure the quality team has appropriate controls, reporting procedures and people to grow the Quality organization
- Organize, plan and manage all operational activities in Quality, including but not limited to:

- Maintain and elaborate the Quality Management System
- Determine, negotiate and agree on in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications, deviations, changes, and CAPAs
- Assess customer requirements and complaints and ensure that these are met or solved
- Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers
- Ensure vendors are compliant with global regulations and that the appropriate processes, systems and activities are in place and performed to protect patient safety, product quality and data integrity
- Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure that legal, quality and financial commitments are met in all quality processes
- Motivate, mentor, recruit & retain high performing diverse teams
- Promote state of the art compliance, quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

**What you should bring to the team**:

- Training: Master in Life Science (Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Veterinary science or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in leading teams
- Specific knowledge: 5 years of practical experience in Quality management. Strong understanding of GMP for raw materials, drug product, label and packaging including QC testing, stability and distribution
- Excellent command of the English language. Fluency in Dutch is a plus
- Deep knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Team player with an entrepreneurial, inspiring and hands-on mentality
- Excellent organizational, leadership skills with results-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills and able to build strong relationships.
