Het VIB Communications & Events team coördineert de communicatiestrategie van VIB en zorgt voor de wereldwijde zichtbaarheid van de successen, activiteiten en medewerkers van het onderzoeksinstituut. Deze communicatiestrategie gebruikt campagnes om VIB's baanbrekend onderzoek, technologieën en waarden naar verschillende stakeholders te brengen (academici, industrie, pers en het brede publiek). VIB.be is de centrale hub van deze activiteiten.

Als medewerker digitale productie speel je een belangrijke rol in het onderhouden en verbeteren van de websites van VIB. Koppel jij een creatieve blik aan een analytische geest, ben je detailgericht en vlot in communicatie, dan maken we graag kennis met jou.

VIB is een ondernemend en non-profit onderzoeksinstituut met een duidelijke focus op baanbrekend onderzoek in de levenswetenschappen. VIB werkt nauw samen met de vijf universiteiten in Vlaanderen - Universiteit Gent, KU Leuven, Universiteit Antwerpen, Vrije Universiteit Brussel en Universiteit Hasselt.

**De belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud van de VIB-websites.
- Je helpt bij het optimaliseren van de websites voor zoekmachines.
- Je maakt landingspagina's voor campagnes.
- Je gebruikt tools zoals Google Analytics om de impact van de campagnes te meten en op basis daarvan voorstellen te doen om het verkeer te optimaliseren en conversies te verhogen.
- Je helpt bij het optimaliseren van het design om de gebruiksvriendelijkheid van de website te verbeteren.
- Je zorgt voor uniformiteit en consistentie op de hele website.

**Profil**:
**Opleiding en ervaring**
- Bachelor diploma Multimedia, Web en ICT
- Kennis van HTML-5, CSS & webstandaarden
- Ervaring met SEO en online marketing
- Kennis van Google Analytics
- Kennis van Drupal is een pluspunt
- Ervaring met gebruik van Adobe Creative Cloud apps

**Vaardigheden**
- Je hebt goede communicatieve vaardigheden (Nederlands en Engels)
- Je bent creatief en hebt gevoel voor lay-out en design
- Je weet hoe je complexe inhoud op een aantrekkelijke manier kunt presenteren
- Je kunt zelfstandig werken, maar werkt ook graag in teamverband
- Je hebt oog voor detail, maar kunt ook een helikopterview hanteren
- Je bent flexibel, stressbestendig en je respecteert deadlines
- Je bent hands-on en accuraat
