The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering the best possible Hach journey to our customers by performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation for Hach's wide range of customer sites, including municipal wastewater, drinking water, food, beverage, power, and laboratories. You’ll be working remotely.

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:

- Carry out calibration/validation installation, service repairs, maintenance and calibration on equipment on the customer premises under the direction of the centralized dispatch planning team
- Build a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems and provide telephone support to customers technical queries.
- Submit timely, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
- Looking out for commercial opportunities.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Mechanical, electronic and electrical skills with some years of experience in a field service position.
- You speak French, good notions of English and Dutch is an added value.
- You are living preferable in the triangle Brussels - Luik - Bergen.

**Dans ce rôle, une journée typique se déroulera comme suit**:

- Assurer une expérience positive pour le client et agir en tant que contact sur place pour les questions techniques et de service, et fournir une assistance téléphonique pour les questions techniques des clients.
- Effectuer des installations d'étalonnage/validation, des réparations, de la maintenance et de l'étalonnage sur des équipements sur les sites des clients sous la direction de l'équipe centralisée de planification des expéditions.
- Soumettre des rapports de service précis et opportuns pour la facturation, l'inventaire, l'historique des instruments et les défaillances des instruments.
- Rechercher des opportunités commerciales.

- Vous avez des compétences en mécanique, en électronique et en électricité et avez déjà plusieurs années d'expérience dans une fonction de service sur le terrain..
