The IT manager is both a manager and a technician. He/She proposes and develops new projects, plans and supervises the work of the team of IT specialists and technicians responsible for the development, analysis and maintenance of equipment and software.
He/She makes sure that the communication with the other departments is smooth and easy to understand to avoid any frustration related to IT problems.
- Define and monitor the IT budget in collaboration with the CFO
- Define, monitor and report on IT roadmap for the various IT projects
- Align technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies
- Responsible for keeping all the IT equipment and services running as well as maintaining an inventory of the company IT equipment
- Assist employees with IT matters and/or escalating technical matters to the external vendor
- Coordinate IT proposals and bid preparations-. Manage SLA, Vendor coordination, Escalation and reporting.
- Review and update policies and procedures documents and to create new policies as required
- Provide functional and technical advice and insight on business processes and initiatives
- Coach a small team (2 team members).
- Organize trainings to teach team members new techniques and methods.
- Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry
- In charge of IT projects (digitalization, new accounting software, management information system) from inception to closing: projects’ scope definition, business requirements’ management, coordination of teams (developers, testers, analysts,), projects’ monitoring (deadline, budgets,). You will closely collaborate with the stakeholders involved in each project in order to optimize them and make sure that you align with the goals and strategies.
- Master degree in Computer Science or local equivalent.
- Experience in the financial sector is a plus
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the IT/finance Industry, including IT management experience.
- Ability to manage and collaborate with outsourced partner and services model
- Understands cloud Infra Workloads, digital workplace environment
- Release and Change management
