**Organization description**:
**Purpose of the Role**: Develop and implement effective HR services for assigned client groups in areas such as integration, performance management, career management, social relations, internal communication, organizational development, and overall employee satisfaction. Aim to realize the "People First" strategy while adhering to the client's HR policies, Belgian HR policies, social legislation, and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**HR business partner**:
- Collaborate with management teams to ensure HR processes align with HR strategy.
- Advise directors and department heads on team management.
**Recruitment**:
- Oversee recruitment processes and guide induction to attract, develop, and retain talent.
- Follow up on internal transfers and ensure HR processes are followed.
**Performance management**:
- Monitor individual performance and develop action plans with the hierarchical line.
- Support managers in developing performance improvement plans and promotion processes.
**Organizational development**:
- Participate in or lead organizational projects to prepare for future challenges.
**Implement organizational changes**:
- Maintain job descriptions and classifications, update organizational charts, and communicate changes to HR admin.
**Social relations**:
- Ensure constructive social dialogue with unions and employee representatives.
- Participate in negotiations and present HR topics in meetings.
**Continuous improvement**:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
**Employee satisfaction**:
- Address employee inquiries, detect and signal problems, and implement action plans from surveys.
**Legal responsibilities**:
- Adapt and implement regulations and policies in compliance with Belgian social legislation and the client's policies.
- Ensure compliance with labor and social relations laws and regulations.
- Manage relations with unions and actively participate in collective bargaining.
- Collaborate with legal advisors to resolve disputes and ensure legal compliance.
**Decision-making authority**:
- Decisions on promotions, transfers, and exits for employees/workers, with advice from the HR Director for management.
**Professional Contacts**:
- Internal: All departments, unions, HR teams for benchmarking and international moves.
- External: Union secretaries, legal advisors, outplacement agencies, temp agencies.
**Our offer**:
- **Education**: University degree.
- **Languages**: Fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of English.
- **Experience**: Approximately 5 years in a generalist HR role.
- **Personality**: Discreet, autonomous, strong influencing skills, business insight, change agent.
- **Mandatory**: Good knowledge of social legislation and general HR processes. Experience in the industrial sector and with unions.
