**Team/division description**
The Production Planning division is at the heart of Toyota’s manufacturing operations. From our headquarters in Europe we manage the short and long term production plan of our 4 vehicle plants and our 3 Engine plants in Europe
All operations are planned and organised in accordance with the concepts of the Toyota Production System (TPS) to achieve Safety, Quality, Just-in-Time and Cost objectives.
**Your responsibilities**
Through this position, you’ll be joining a team in central position, coordinating Demand & Supply between Sales and Manufacturing (Plants) operation. You’ll have opportunity to take part and contribute to Toyota Europe production planning monthly process and manage daily Production Control activities.
As part of our team, you will be required to:
- Understand the manufacturing plants conditions (current, past performance etc), restrictions, flexibility
- Grasp the Sales demand and understand it (Risk & opportunity, trend etc)
- Make proposals for production plans considering the above (including the longer term perspective)
- Get agreement for production volumes with Manufacturing Plants and TME Top Management
- Make and issue the Production Plan (Short Term and Long Term)
- Grasp the concerns toward meeting future demand (eg capacity restrictions, performance < plan) and facilitate solutions - including mobilizing other divisions to support.
- Support / contribute to the other responsibilities of the department (crisis management, build-to-order enhancement, Plant kaizen operations, supplier capacity confirmation, etc )

Your Profile:
For TME
**Graduate positions** we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
- You are fluent in English (TME business language)
- You have a Master in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or Business Management background.
- You have affinity with automotive and passionate about quality
- You are highly numeric, with strong logical and analytical skills (Excel and PowerBI). Knowledge of programming language is a plus
- You enjoy a multicultural environment, and you could get exposed to international environment, through study or work experience.
- You are pro-active and willing to be a team player
- You are stress resistant with a hands-on mentality
- You have the ability to develop creative ways for operational challenges and for cost improvements
- You are a pragmatic problem solver, result driven
- You have good communication and negotiation skills based on fact based analysis.
- You are well organized, able to manage peak periods
