In general, the Business Development Manager Services is a s
**_trategic marketing, new business development position, responsible for the overall management, and marketing strategy_** for designated KAS (Kemin Application Solution) and CLS (Customer Laboratory Services) service entities, supporting the span of the product’s lifecycle.You are responsible for the service function whereby KAS and CLS will be merged to a single strategic service entity. This service function will
**_ act as a business enabler with a strong focus to secure long-term relations and contracts with large account_**s. The Business Development Manager Services will be part of the European Marketing Team.

**Responsibilities**:
As
**Business Development Manager Services,** you will be in the
**_dr_**
**_iv_**
**_er seat to develop and roll out KAS and CLS services paving the road towards a service excellence center._**You will have a variety of responsibilities divided among two pillars.

1) Spark and drive KAE’s service entity strategy and vision to maximize business growth:

- **P&L responsibility** of the service structure driving service revenues and managing all expenses, including but not limited to OPEX, CAPEX and people
- Design, define and drive the longer term (marketing) strategy of KAS and CLS and translate the strategy into tactics and actions:

- Transform KAS / CLS into business enablers
- ** Drive innovation through service-design-thinking and develop the Service Innovation Process** to pave the road towards Service Centre of Excellence
- Manage KAS and CLS teams, projects, and processes

2) Drive the visibility of KAS and CLS as part of our integrated solution offering by effective internal/ external communication in close cooperation with other functional stakeholders:

- Create internal buy-in for data driven digital transformation projects at all levels of the organization
- Communicate with passion on service and product support and provide technical/data-driven recommendations to (future) customers
- (pro)actively support Strategic Account Management, i.e., development of (account based) strategic and/or industry specific plans in close co-op with customer facing team.

Qualifications:

- Background preferably in marketing in the (Ag) industry
- Track record in **_strategic marketing preferably on international level_**:

- **_ Ability to present ideas effectively and communicate_** well with customers, peers, and all levels of management.
- Positive thinker, able to recognize opportunities in the market and take action to succeed
- Strong financial and analytical skills; understand financial statements and ability to evaluate and understand complex cost structures, margin, pricing, and market share.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels in/outside the organization
- Ability to work cross functional.
