About the job
Under the guidance of the Sr. PRGM manager, as a PRGM manager, you contribute to the development of sustainable and profitable value growth for Danone and the customer through the 4 PRGM levers: promo, pricing, trade terms and mix management. You **understand what drives profitable growth **and how we can **optimize it. **You master **financial KPI’s** and combined with other data resources you give the most optimal recommendations on **promo plans, tariff, pricing & retailer conditions**. You work closely together with all internal departments involved in the PRGM processes.
Your key responsibilities within this role will be the following:
- **Promo management**:
- Support in the design of national & tailormade promo plan in line with key objectives of every brand
- Drive promotional ROI calculations for national & tailor-made promo proposals, and align on preferred plans with KAMs/brand managers
- Analyze promotional performance post mortem & monitor competitive promotional activities
- Directly engage with customers to drive strategy into execution during customers' business reviews
- **Pricing & trade terms management**:Drive optimal pricing & TT strategies
- Help to determine the yearly tariff increase taking into account internal profitability, price elasticity and external competitive landscape
- Be the sparring partner of KAMs for financial impact of negotiation decisions and look into customer trade terms optimization opportunities in close collaboration with KAM
- Define the right consumer price for every innovation, including gross to net cascade by customer taking into account the competitive landscape, COGS, retailer gross margin objectives and Danone internal profitability objectives
- Reassure a smooth systems change over in ODCP go live process
- **Product mix management**:
- Co-build with the core OBPPC core team the size of the price of defined product mix opportunities & align on key recommendations, taking into account Danone’s and customer’s profitability, shopper profiles and willingness to pay
- Ensure timely & correct data delivery on pricing and promotional topics in category (GPS) meetings and manage PRGM risk & opportunities in the GPS process
About you
- A strong analytical mindset and an excellent P&L understanding
- Strong IT skills, esp. in Excel, Power BI, experience with promo planning systems is a plus
- A can-do attitude, be proactive, continuously strive for excellence & data accuracy
- Be creative, think outside the box
- Have strong communication skills internally and externally
- Have a high ability to work in cross functional teams
