As a Portfolio Marketing Manager you will be responsible for translating the current and future chef needs into a strategic portfolio plan, manage the total portfolio through simplification, launch and relaunch projects from product development till product/brand communication. You will be responsible to:
- Drive Business Growth Targets for categories and brands
- Build/Manage portfolio positioning & sustainable growth strategy
- Manage simplification, launch and relaunch projects (link local / global)
- Provide Brand or category content to support launches
- Collect & analyse customer & market insights
- Train sales force on product knowledge through culinary trainings / selling stories
**Main purpose of the job**:
We are now looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to strengthen our marketing team in Belgium, based in Brussels. You will be responsible for the total UFS BE portfolio, coaching a junior Portfolio Marketeer. Your main interactions will be with the local team (multiple disciplines) and the Global marketing team on portfolio innovations and renovations.
Content of the role:
- Manage the mix of the current portfolio for Belgium
- Lead mix development for innovations and renovations for Belgium (from market insights to the effective launch/relaunch of a product)
- Drive growth for Belgium through perfect execution of portfolio related activities of the Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
- Main interface between Belgium and the Global team
**Main accountabilities**:
**General**:
- Own Portfolio part of the IBP from development till execution
- Develop Strategic portfolio funnel (Short & long term)
- Local category knowledge and understanding (competition / operator needs & usage / )
- Analyse category performance and define & implement corrective actions
- Drive portfolio projects with the relevant local teams
**Portfolio marketing**:
- Local portfolio management, 7 P’s
- Lead mix development for innovations and renovations
- Local input for category strategy
- Strategic pricing: implement and track pricing in market and take corrective actions as appropriate.
- Perfect execution of portfolio data in systems (pricing, naming, hero images)
- Trouble shooting
- Passion to help the operators (the chefs) to love what they do
- Manage portfolio and category marketing routine tasks.
**Develop young talent**:
- Coach a junior portfolio marketeer into a portfolio manager giving right projects and a good balance between trust and guidance
**Who are you?**

- 5+ years of marketing experience
