- By creating one of the best ballet schools in the world for talented young people the Mosa Ballet School aims at developing a new approach to elite dance training as well as creating an impact on the community through the “Quand on Danse” societal program._
- Mosa is growing and is currently looking for a Chief Executive Officer who will be responsible for the successful leadership and management of the school activities according to the strategic direction set by the Founders of the school._
**Your role**
Your direct reports will be the Artistic director, the Head of Faculty, the Chief Operating Officer, the Societal Impact Program Manager, the Communications, Marketing & External Relations Manager and the Sales & Development Manager.
In this role you will:
- Leadership_
- Participate with the Board of Directors in developing the strategic plan
- Act as a professional advisor to the Board of Directors on all aspects of the school activities
- Identify, assess, and inform the Board of Directors of internal and external events affecting the school
- Build and oversee the Executive Management Team, providing clarity and ensuring synergies between people, processes, and strategies to drive execution of the school objectives
- Foster effective teamwork between the Board and yourself and between the Managers, staff and stakeholders
- Operational Planning and Management_
- Develop an operational plan incorporating goals and objectives set by the Board
- Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the school, champion digital strategies that support the school goals
- Ensure that the danse curricula, programs and services offered by the school -including the societal program - contribute to the mission and reflect the priorities of the Board
- Actively develop the societal program _Quand on Danse _according to the strategic objectives set by the Board
- Provide the collaborative leadership necessary to achieve the school objectives; coordinate work and collaborate with the Executive Committee members
- Provide support to the Board by preparing meeting agenda and supporting material
- Financial planning and fundraising_
- Fulfil the role of CFO
- Work with the Board to secure adequate funding for the operation of the school
- Actively seek revenue enhancement, research funding sources, oversee the development of fundraising plans and participate in fundraising activities as appropriate
- Approve expenditure within the authority delegated by the Board and implement operating cost controls
- Ensure that sound bookkeeping and accounting procedures are implemented
- Provide the Board with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure and other KPIs of the school
- Community Relations_
- Act as a spokesperson for the school together with the Founders and the Chair of the Board
- Establish durable and positive working relationships and collaborative arrangements with donors and sponsors, politicians, partners and other organisations to help achieve the goals of the school
- Enhance a strong local and international presence; participate in selected events and speaking engagements as a spokesperson for Mosa mission and impact
- Oversee brand development, social media presence and marketing of Mosa
**About You**:
- Your qualifications :_
- A minimum of 15 years work experience in a CEO position, of which 5 years spent abroad
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
- Proven success as a business developer
- Successful finance experience, track record of developing and securing resources through philanthropy and other fundraising opportunities and developing strategic partnerships
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or Education
- Highly Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP solutions
- Very good written and spoken knowledge of French and English
