**Summary**:
The **Head of Parts Supply Chain** will plan, direct and monitor all parts supply chain activities, i.e. Operations, Continuous Improvement actions and projects and OEM/Supplier Performance Management, Purchasing (Direct & Indirect) to ensure that BIA has the right parts at the right place at the right time at the right cost, together with business aligned inventory level and efficient operations.

**Key accountabilities**:
- Develop logistics & inventory strategies in line with the Group Supply Chain strategy
- Lead, with the help of his/her S&OP Manager, the parts S&OP process and work on an improvement journey to gain in process maturity
- Define, manage and secure the Parts Stock Policy, ensuring its adequacy and set relevant KPIs to monitor its effectiveness
- Sponsor the Parts Supply Chain business processes and help to translate them into SAP with our IT Team
- Follow-up on projects & action plans to achieve expected results
- Day-to-day management of the team (holiday, recruitment, coaching, training, planning, objectives settings, amongst others)
- Ensure processes are lean, understood and applied
- Monitor and report planning, speed of delivery, quality of commitment and inventory performance
- Maintain good communication and relationship with key stakeholders (Customers, OEMs, LSPs, other departments)
- Represent BIA Supply Chain in key meetings with Customers, OEMs and Logistics partners
- Manage supplier (direct & indirect) contracts and performance
- Manage central stocks and guarantee proper stock accuracy & stock takes
- Improve logistics reliability while reducing total Cost to Serve
- Work closely with HR to ensure the operational and daily management of the team in compliance with BIA’s policies as defined by HR. (Including: recruitment, objective setting, performance evaluation, training and personal development plan, talent review, holiday and expense review and approval, amongst others)

**Who are we looking for?**:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations or Engineering
- Min. 10 - 15 years of proven experience in an equivalent setup (Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics Operations)
- Min. 2 years of proven experience in a managerial role
- SAP ERP system is a must (S/4 HANA being a definite advantage)
- APICS Certification (or equivalent) is a plus
- Knowledge of Incoterms / Freight forwarding / Transportation / Inter-company flows
- International Business experience (with Africa is a plus)
- Heavy equipment, Mining and/or Construction industry is a definite plus
- Both French and English is required (Spoken and written)
