**Summary**:
Ultimately accountable for all Country Supply Chain activities and KPI, the Head of Supply Chain Network plan**s**, directs and monitors all supply and logistics activities to ensure a Compliant, performant and cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers. Those activities include expediting, inventory control, warehouse operations management and logistics. Directly in charge of the Network Customs Health Check, ensures a monthly updated overview of customs risks and compliance actions for all the Countries. Deploy DOS-based Continuous Improvement and contribute to Implement Group strategy.

**What will be your responsibilities?**:

- Ensure customer satisfaction by driving performance and Continuous Improvement across BIA Network
- Define and implement, in collaboration with the other Supply Chain Heads, the Headquarter team, and their team of Country Supply Chain Managers, key improvement projects based on rigorous KPI Gap Analysis
- Drive performance through carefully tracked KPI and related gap analysis and action plans
- Coach Country Supply Chain Managers to ensure that every supply chain function is performing efficiently to avoid costly delays/lost sales opportunities, ensure that materials, parts and components are available at the exact place, time & cost which is needed
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Excellence best practice sharing activities & document changes to processes
- Report on a monthly basis to Supply Chain VP and HQ Finance representatives, on country by country current Customs Compliance status & actions through the Customs Health Check heat map process
- Drive Country Supply Chain Managers to ensure Customs compliance through careful and regular monitoring of current Customs regulations and their evolution in order to neutralize risks and optimize import costs
- On-time delivery of parts, components to internal and external customers
- Coordinate S&OP process by collecting parts & equipment forecasts and facilitating discussions with Sales and Aftermarket teams
- Ensure BIA Supply Chain DOS, Procedures & Policies are deployed, implemented, trained to & followed
- Manage BIA Inventories, Inventory levels & accuracy according to BIA Stock Policy and coordinating with HQ, and Warehouse Operations
- Ensure physical inventory counts are performed in-line with company rules
- Maintain strong communication and information sharing with the Supply Chain Team, Sales & AFM
- Supervise BIA's relationship with its suppliers on a contractual and operational level
- Manage purchasing according to BIA Sourcing Policy, control and monitor price, quantities, quality & On Time Delivery
- Liaise with Group functions (reporting, operational coordination & Continuous Improvement)
- Ensure proper implementation of QHSE standards and 5S principles in all warehouses
- Support local operational reporting
- Work closely with HR to ensure the operational and daily management of its team in compliance with BIA’s policies as defined by HR. (Incl: recruitment, objective setting, performance evaluation, learning and personal development plan, talent review, holiday and expense review and approval, amongst others

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Master's degree
- Minimum 10 years' of relevant working experience in Freight forwarding, Logistics, Transportation of heavy equipment in Africa and Supply Chain
- Experience of doing business in Africa is hence required
- Good knowledge of Incoterms and import/export business principles
- Experience in mining and/or construction industry is a definite plus
- Solid people management experience
- Fluent in French and English
- Microsoft products (Advanced Excel expertise)
- Knowledge about ERP systems (SAP ERP is a plus)
- Capability of working with and adapting to any level inside an organization (from workshop to top management)
- Experience within an International dimension
- Key competencies : Commercial acumen, Customer focus, Result orientation, Leadership, Analytical skills
