**Job Description**:
ARHS Developments is looking for an experienced Project Management Officer for one of its clients at the European Institutions.

If you have experience in Portfolio Management or as a seasoned project manager and are willing to work in a PMO, you might be the person we are looking for.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Portfolio management: Report on the composition of a portfolio: Demands, Services, Projects. Ensure components of the portfolio belong to the correct one. Track the evolution of the portfolio as components are added, enter the closure phase, are cancelled, etc.
- Work together with the rest of the team on creating reports for the senior management and for the whole organization: Structured formal documents to explain the status of the work plan of the IT Directorate, interactive dashboards for the whole community to explore the status of the work plan.
- Participate on trainings as trainer to spread good project management practices.
- Work together with the team or autonomously on the creation and modification of artefacts.
- Participate on alignment exercises.
- Participate in meetings with other colleagues to find common solutions to misalignment cases.
- Propose enhancements to process in the PMO office.
- Work together with the Customer Relationship Managers so the work plan is in alignment with the requests from the clients.
- Assist on the analysis of programme briefs and programme closure reports.
- Work together with the team checking up the status of programmes. Regular meetings with programme managers to gather their needs.

**Qualifications**:
**Your profile**
- University degree in Computer Sciences, Communication or other relevant fields
- A creative mind to work both at strategical level as well as capacity to work at the operational level
- Capable of working in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting
- Excellent analytical & organisational skills

**Technical skills**

At least 10 years of experience in the following:

- Project Management of Information Systems development projects.
- Project management tools
- Quality procedures
- Iterative, incremental and adaptive lifecycles (e.g. RUP, agile methods)
- Practical experience of the system development lifecycle would be desirable
- Experience with Excel, ServiceNow, PowerQuery & PowerBI would be considered an asset.
