The American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium represents the interests of its 400 members, including some of the largest US and Belgian companies across all sectors. Advocacy is foundational to our pivotal role in improving business and investment opportunities for the US-Belgian business community. The US is the largest source of foreign investment in Belgium and its most important trading partner outside of Europe.

As AmCham Belgium’s Member Relations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the engagement and satisfaction of our members. Your mission will be to create a seamless and positive association between our organization and each member throughout their membership journey. You will also be responsible for identifying and actively engaging with potential members, providing them with the necessary information and insights to encourage them to become part of the Chamber.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take on a central role in fostering engagement among our members, ensuring their active participation in our events, committees, and other activities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our members, ensuring that their inquiries, concerns, and requests are promptly and professionally addressed.
- Identify and actively engage with prospective members, promoting the value of membership and the benefits of joining our community.
- Initiate and implement innovative initiatives to enhance member engagement and foster a sense of belonging and community spirit.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to member relations and seamless service delivery.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date member records in our database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Monitor member engagement and satisfaction levels. Gather member feedback and suggestions, identifying areas for continuous improvement to enhance our services and offerings.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and member service standards, incorporating them into daily operations to elevate the member experience further.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficient in native-level English with eloquent communication skills.
- Previous experience in a professional services company or member-driven organization is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with prospects and members, including CEOs and Senior Executives.
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Proactive and demonstrating excellent organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently.
- Alignment with AmCham's values, demonstrating a commitment to the organization's mission and principles.
