Capital Equipment Operation Specialist

Abbott is recruiting a Capital Service Operation Specialist for our European Distribution Center in Machelen, Belgium.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Act as level 2 support for all customer service-related activities like SAP order entry, SAP return handling, SAP invoicing and Service CRM tool actions (cases - work orders) to our Capital Equipment Customer Service team members and to local customer service performing actions on capital equipment.
- Run reports and perform analysis on open orders. Assist the regions in their activities ensuring consistency in method and timing.
- Run reports and perform analysis on invoicing (contracts & on-demand). Assist the regions in these activities ensuring consistency in method and timing.
- Run reports and perform analysis on returned and non-returned components. Assist the regions in these activities ensuring consistency in method and timing.
- Manage with little supervision the calibrated device rotating pool ensuring no service interruption and aligned with QA policy.

- Act as a contact point between customer service and the Return team on all return related issues.
- Act as a contact point between the EMEA Customer Service and the Global Capital Equipment Customer Service teams on iBASE related issues.
- Run reports on iBASE health state and drive cleaning actions with regional and global Capital Customer Service teams.
- Provide support for In-House training courses and congresses
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- A minimum of four years of progressively more responsible business administrative experience is required and additional 2 or more years of experience in working with medical systems is a must. Previous experience in scheduling tasks and people by using any kind scheduling software is a must.
- Requires a demonstrated knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function, company products, policies and programs.
- Experience in development and in implementation of capital customer service processes is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse executions is a plus
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication & organizational skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Some analytical ability, originality and/or ingenuity required.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- English is a must, any additional European languages is a plus
- Computer skills : MSOffice, SAP,is a must
- Ability to be flexible and respond to situations at short notice
- Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
- Ability to work with little supervision within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
