**Your challenge**:

- As the Billing and Collection Specialist, you collaborate closely with our teams to accurately and promptly structure complex **projects and contracts** in our reporting tool, ensuring a swift and accurate billing and revenue recognition process.
- You perform** account reconciliations**, investigating and resolving any **discrepancies **or **inquiries**, including validating outstanding questions for Project Managers, Account Managers and Business Development.
- You are the go-to-person for advice on **efficiency gains** and **automation of the billing process**.
- You maintain **historical customer payment plans** and collaborate with Sales, Operations, or Legal to resolve outstanding **disputes**.
- Lastly, you contact customers to collect **overdue bills **(credit collection is about 10% of this role

**Your interest and skills**:

- You hold a Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance or a related field, or you can show relevant work experience for this role.
- **Prioritizing **tasks and working in an organized, structured way is something you’re capable of.
- You are tech-savvy and have experience with **ERP systems** such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience in an **international **work environment is a plus.
- You have a keen eye for **detail**, an **analytical **mindset, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
- As the Billing and Collection Specialist, you are **flexible **and **result-driven**, you thrive with a **hands-on mentality**.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage **multiple projects** is second nature to you.
- You are fluent in **English**, with proficiency in Dutch or French being a strong advantage, both spoken and written.
