End 2021, Proximus entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with HCL, a global technology company, to achieve greater levels of flexibility and resilience whilst accelerating growth and increasing the levels of innovation. This IT infrastructure partnership will not only allow us to assure the development of the best customer offer, but it will also make sure that we’re able to retain strong strategic influence in the cloud domain.
Objective of the partnership is to transform the current IT infrastructure services. IT infrastructure transformation programs are strategic in nature, customized, with existing and new technologies and/or topics and/or high customer/business risk and visibility, and enterprise-wide impact. Knowing that majority of telco services, TV and residential customer services (e.g. call centers, shops, technicians, repair process) are depending on this IT infrastructure, the customer experience needs to be safeguarded whilst transforming.
The success of the partnership heavily depends on the quality of the long term relationship and achieving all objectives set, therefore both HCL and Proximus will assign a relationship manager.
Tasks description
- Ensure the partnership delivery and an improved customer experience.
- The development and facilitation of a joint strategy and roadmap.
- Operate within and ensure alignment with Proximus Group strategy and corporate vision and/or internal customer-specific methodologies.
- Manage ambiguity when finding the best balance between “Customer experience” and financial costs in a cloud consumption model.
- Show a strong willingness to build relationships with stakeholders and become this way a true transversal, company-wide actor.
Your Profile
We are looking for an experienced profile in a senior position. The combination of operational, financial, IT and customer focus competences is attractive to you, and you will
- Be customer centric & technology savvy.
- Have an excellent track record in stakeholder management and maintaining relationship with strategic partners.
- Have understanding of partnerships and alliances and how they can create value for the business.
- Demonstrate at all time the quality of your decision making.
- Your ability to guide, motivate and inspire partnership members is unquestionable.
- You can create an efficient work atmosphere based on trust and have the ability to resolve conflicts.
- 'Out of the box' thinking and innovative thinking are required to achieve objectives
