Je stuurt als manager op inspirerende wijze het team Support Services aan (Financiën, HR, administratie en ICT) waarbij je mensen coacht en motiveert om, binnen de kaders die je meegeeft, tot optimale resultaten te komen. Je werkt planmatig en doelbewust en weet een goed overzicht te bewaren.
- Je maakt deel uit van het management team van Artsen Zonder Vakantie;
- Je bepaalt mee de strategische keuzes van de organisatie en vertaalt de genomen beslissingen binnen jouw team in concrete acties;
- Je stuurt een team van 7 vaste medewerkers en meerdere vrijwilligers aan, je coacht hen en volgt hen op bij het uitvoeren van het financieel, administratief en het personeelsbeleid van de organisatie;
- Je structureert, optimaliseert en documenteert de bestaande processen binnen het team en ondersteunt jouw teamleden in het doorvoeren van verbeteringstrajecten;
- Je staat in voor het bepalen en beheren van het budget en legt de richtlijnen van een gezond financieel beheer voor de ganse organisatie vast;
- Je tekent het HR beleid voor de organisatie uit, zorgt voor een vlotte implementatie ervan en werkt op die manier mee aan een duurzaam personeelsbestand
- en beleid;
- Je werkt aan digitalisering en verbetering van het ICT-landschap om de samenwerking tussen de verschillende regio’s in Afrika te ondersteunen;
**Jouw profiel en competenties**:
- Je herkent jezelf in de missie, de visie en de waarden van Artsen Zonder Vakantie en werkt vlot in een multiculturele omgeving;
- Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie;
- Je genoot een economische/financiële masteropleiding (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring);
- Je hebt interesse in de wereld van de ontwikkelingssamenwerking/ngo’s en/of vzw’s;
- Je werkt planmatig, neemt graag een trekkersrol op in veranderingstrajecten en houdt ervan om orde en structuur te brengen in een complexere omgeving;
- Je houdt van cijfers maar ook van mensen;
- Kennis van boekhoudsoftware en rapporteringssystemen is een grote plus.
- Je bent een verbindende persoon die graag samenwerkt met verschillende culturen en profielen van mensen;
- Je bent flexibel, tactvol en hebt oog voor detail;
- Het samenwerken met andere collega’s in Mechelen én in Afrika vraagt om goede communicatievaardigheden en een vlotte kennis van het Frans én het Nederlands.
