Based in Brussels the Head, Integrated Product Support (IPS) plays a key role in leading the team that is responsible for ensuring that the Agency acquires and delivers systems and services that maximize operational availability while minimizing life cycle costs.

**Who we are:
NCIA acquire, deploy and defend communications systems for NATO's political decision-makers and Commands; the agency is on the frontlines against cyber-attacks, working closely with governments and industry to help NATO keep its technological edge.

**The role:
The Head IPS will be part of the Acquisition function who provides a full range of acquisition expertise and activities which support the planning and implementation of capabilities to support the Agency’s strategic goals and missions. The IPS Office is responsible for the oversight of all Integrated Product Support matters relating to supportability engineering, IPS policies, procedures and requirements, as well as IPS contribution to the Agency Asset Management and product Configuration Management (CM).

The post of Head IPS will provide the entire array of supervisory and management functions to the Integrated Product Support Office which will include providing oversight of all Integrated Product Support (IPS) matters relating to:

- Supportability and related facilities engineering;
- IPS policies, procedures and requirements, as well as
- IPS contribution to the Agency Asset Management and product Configuration Management (CM).

**About you:
You easily establish good relationship and are able to relate to people at all levels and lead by example. You produce new ideas, approaches and insights to deliver innovate solutions to problems. Able to adapt to changing circumstances you can manage ambiguity, accept new ideas and change initiatives, further to this you have:

- A Master’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in supportability/logistics engineering, or related field a related discipline and 5 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years post related experience;
- Appropriate national or international qualifications and/or experience in the majority of IPS/Supportability Engineering related activities described under duties;
- Possess proven people management, mentoring, influencing and leaderships skills and experience (at least 5 years);
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both, orally and in writing with good briefing skills.
- Ideally prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
- Ideally have knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization especially in regard to IPS for C4ISR capabilities
