**About this role**
We are looking for an experienced Workplace Lead to join our Global Workplace team at Showpad's Ghent office, the EMEA HQ of Showpad. The Workplace Lead will manage the facilities onsite and support our Belgium-based employees with all Workplace related needs. **Key responsibilities as a Workplace Lead**
- Own the employee Workplace experience in our Ghent office, including providing world-class support for all Workplace-related needs as the go-to person in the Workplace team in Ghent.
- Ensure daily facilities activities run smoothly, cultivating a productive and welcoming workspace
- Interface with the building's property management as well as all of our office service vendors to keep the office in pristine condition at all times (electricity, cleaning, maintenance, etc.)
- Create and maintain relationships with food/beverage, supply, and other service vendors and manage spend to ensure that we are getting the best value from our vendors.
- Manage all internal events on-site, such as happy hours, company celebrations, team building, etc.
- Liaise with other teams to enhance the impact of initiatives
- Maintain all workplace safety programs and document operational processes, policies, controls for the business
- Go-to person for your colleagues
- Ensure the office is fully stocked with basic supplies at all times
- Support in organising large-scale company events
**To be successful you need**
- Equivalent experience in a similar role
- Already have, or be willing to quickly work towards, Prevention Advisor Level 2 Certification for Belgium
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Previous success in facilities management and employee experience
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- A top service minded attitude combined with critical thinking and problem solving skills
