To strengthen our Medical Affairs team focusing on preparing launches in our immune-dermatology indications, baseed in our **headquarter in Brussels**, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of**:Global Medical Affairs Lead Immuno-dermatology**.**

**The Global Medical Affairs Lead Immuno-dermatology will provide medical & scientific expertise for the global Immuno-Dermatology teams. The role will provide Medical Affairs Leadership to support approved agents in psoriasis (PSO) and the launch preparation of investigational agents in PSO/Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS).**

- He / she will play a key role in setting the therapy area (TA) global medical strategy and scientific communication strategy and will also proactively contribute to the overall cross-functional asset strategy, by translating science into value for patients, health care community and the organization, and will provide global medical strategic direction to the regional Medical Affairs Teams

**you will **contribute** by**:

- Development of global Medical strategy, including updates to the scientific communication platform, development of the scientific communication plan and evidence generation plan and delivery of a robust medical affairs plan
- Supports Medical Affairs launch preparation activities in PSO/HS including publication and congress activities, development of materials and trainings for field Medical Affairs colleagues
- Establish a network of dermatology thought leaders / researchers, to ensure understanding of the evolving disease and treatment landscape and to develop appropriate solutions to meet the evolving needs of external stakeholders.
- Proactively engage and be a key contributor to the overall Immunology Medical Affairs community within the organization

Core job responsibilities of the TA medical Strategic lead are inclusive of the following:
**Global Medical Strategy**:

- Development and delivery of the Global medical strategy, by translating science into value for patients and business, in collaboration with the cross functional team and supports assets in development
- Provides medical input to the TA cross-functional team/ unit, Market Access and External Engagement to ensure the successful integration of critical medically focused deliverables for existing products and supports future launches of new products.
- Contributes to the development of the overall asset strategic and tactical plans and delivers the Medical Affairs Plan
- Represents the expert medical viewpoint and insights based on regional input into global strategy
- Serves as a disease area scientific and medical expert for internal customers/stakeholders, e.g., Global Clinical Development team, Research and Development, Marketing, Market Access and other line functions and external customers e.g., Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Market Access and Patient Advocacy Groups
- Provides medical scientific input for assigned Medical Affairs studies (Phase IIIB, Phase IV, observational studies, interventional, non-interventional studies), as a member of the Global Immuno-Dermatology Medical Affairs Team
- Leads the development of scientific communications plans (manuscripts, congress abstracts etc), including exploratory data analysis activities to support scientific communication priorities and messages
- Works with research colleagues to develop materials to facilitate scientific exchange to advance understanding of disease pathogenesis, unmet need and asset mechanism of action
- Works with regional teams to deliver Medical Affairs activities at key scientific congresses and to support development of materials for use by field medical teams
**Scientific and medical expertise to internal teams ensuring high level of scientific & TA acumen across the organization, particularly to the medical teams; champions medical excellence**:

- Education and training: supports medical training programs for approved products to ensure that TA medical teams, cross functional teams and key internal stakeholders have appropriate levels of expertise in relevant disease states and with relevant products, in line with UCB standards of scientific leadership
