**Production Logistics**, which is a part of Group Truck Operations (GTO). We are an organization of approximately 650 employees, globally connected to deliver logistics solutions with world class operational excellence. We ensure that transportation is purchased, packaging is made available at our supplier, material is transported to our production facilities and vehicles are distributed to our customers on time. We design and optimize the Production Logistics supply chain for the Volvo Group, prepare logistics for new products and drive the Sales & Operations Planning process. Transport Products Road Europe is part of the Transport Products Operations organization within Production Logistics, GTO. Our focus is to deliver trucks, vans, machines and buses in time by maintaining a good relationship with our carriers and Sales colleagues.
We are now looking for a Coordinator within Transport Products team located in Belgium-Ghent.

As a coordinator you are part of the team, you coach and assist the distribution responsibles in their daily work and with carrier contacts so you can also be their back-up.
Your objective is to work on improvements by means of the VPS toolbox and transfer that knowledge back into the team. Related to this, you roll out new ways of working with operational tools and educate your team members. Your crossfunctional network will be crucial to maintain sustainable processes. Analyses of datasets and statistics and reporting key performance indicators is a daily routine. You represent the department in projects, towards internal and external stakeholders and support the team manager.

Your analytic and problemsolving skills will enable you to work independently and creatively to solve problems. You can handle healthy stress levels and prefer the hands-on approach. English is required, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
