He or she will also provide and/or coordinate required technical support to major customers.
**Key responsibilities**
- Promoting and developing sales through customer visits/contacts/networking in alignment with short & long term Business/Sales plan
- Developing and maintaining existing and prospective customers, generating leads and growing turnover for NAO
- Negotiating within assigned territory/recommends commercial agreements
- Promoting developmental products to existing and potential customers
- Administering prices within the appropriate delegated authority
- Providing market intelligence from assigned territory, changes in competitive market activity, supply and demand, pricing trends, political & economic conditions, etc.
- Providing service support/complaint handling and problem solving in case of issues/questions
- Ensuring that all requests from customers are handled in due time
- Ensuring administrative follow-up of sales
- Providing and/or coordinating required technical support to customers, informing customers about the technical programs being conducted for them, handling client claims and technical questions, obtaining regulation compliance certificates
- Developing and coordinating technical development programs within scope designated by product manager
- Keeping management/colleagues aware of evolution of technical requirements of various markets in assigned area
- Cooperating and sharing information with involved Staff Services (Finance, Bus. Services, Bus. Support, Technical Support)
- Creating quotations and forwarding them for approval to NAO/PAO Product Manager EMEA
- Coaching and managing distributors by giving relevant information & sales directions and ensuring win situations
- Be an active part of the growth strategy of the NAO/PAO unit

- Preferably an academic degree in Chemical Engineering or a techno-commercial degree.
- Several years of sales experience in the chemical industry
- Spoken and written fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of other languages is considered to be an asset.
- Qualities: be proactive, result driven, teamwork and collaboration skills, strong negotiation and communication skills, assertiveness, flexible
- The role demands frequent travel (40%).
