- 39As part of our Manpower and Crew Planning Division within TUI Airline Belgium our Crew Leave Executives support the submission and approval process for annual leave for our Cabin and Flight Deck Crew.
The process of allocation is managed via various Leave Bids which observe a number of regulatory and local agreements.
**We currently have a rare opportunity to join this specialised team on a Fixed Term contract for 6 months.**
You’ll join your Crew Leave colleagues and our wider Manpower and Crew Planning team onsite at our offices in Zaventem as the operational requirement of the role including the intricacy of the process and the collaboration with various departments work best in a face to face environment.

**ABOUT THE JOB**
- As Crew Leave Executive you’ll be responsible for:
- Act as the primary point of contact for crew members regarding leave requests, providing timely and clear communication on leave approvals or any necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with Crew Scheduling, Operations, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Coordinate with crew members and other relevant departments to collect and compile annual leave requests
- Utilise software to efficiently allocate and manage annual leave, taking into consideration individual preferences, operational requirements and holiday agreements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labour regulations, and contractual agreements when planning and approving vacation
- The rostering of pre-assigned activity in the planning tool (vacation days) as required to complete the overall production of Pilot and Cabin Crew rosters
- Analyse historical leave data and trends to optimise future leave planning and enhance transparency
- Generate regular reports on leave utilisation, patterns, and potential areas for improvement
- Address and resolve conflicts related to leave requests, working closely with crew members and social teams to find suitable solutions
- Provide support in handling emergency leave situations and last-minute changes to schedules
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements related to leave management
- Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of leave planning and utilisation
- Administrative support within the Manpower & Crew planning domain
- Maintaining relevant sections in the departmental handbook and completing departmental audits to demonstrate individual and departmental compliance in line with the departmental audit schedule
- Interpreting legal and company scheduling/vacation agreements, suggesting changes and identifying opportunities for improving utilisation and reducing overall establishment. Providing input to relevant business improvement initiatives and trade union debate
**ABOUT YOU**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in leave planning, preferably within the aviation industry, is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills, both in process and report domains
- Ability to set up process and look for improvement in stakeholder management
- Understanding of labour regulations and contractual agreements in the aviation sector
- Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel
