Sr Planning Operation Analyst

This role is part operation analyst, part project manager for cross-functional project teams. It requires deep planning and business knowledge, a “do-er” mentality and excellent organizational skills.
- You will lead the project management of the different projects (chase stakeholders, communication, escalation,..) to make sure we deliver the commitments on-time and on budget.
- You will lead cross-functionally process improvement work when needed to come to an aligned way of working with clear RACI’s.
- You will work collaboratively with the Product manager of Internal Innovation, the Planning Ops manager and Senior management to define the roadmap for new innovations that fits the company strategy
- Strong cross functional collaboration and communication is key to successfully executing this job.
- You will use strong analytical skills and Planning expertise to identify key business opportunities and risks and make sound recommendations to Operations lead.
- You will support the Planning Operation Mgr in key operational milestones: S&OP, Investment reviews, Volume Alignment, lifecycle and consolidate the required regional information to support global processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the operations team for Cluster / Global S&OP process and Investment Review processes with key cross-functional partners (data gathering, deck preparation, notes and follow-up).
- Own Go-To-Market calendar for the department, collaborate with Merch Ops & Sales Ops team to define it and provide monthly guidelines to the Merch Planning team for monthly forecast transmission.
- Based on business acumen and data analysis identify monthly products for left to sell actions and partner with Merch team to get final product list to flag for in season discount..
- Propose and develop in collaboration with the regional planning teams (whls, retail and inventory) new processes & harmonize ways of working across the department to drive simplification.
- Partner with reporting and analytics team to ensure timely issuance, new developments, or needs for future enhancements.
- Responsible for planning and overseeing Internal innovation projects together with the product lead from ideation through to completion:
- End-to-end project planning : Lead project planning sessions & ensure projects meet deadlines
- Proactive communication : Managing relationships with internal customers, external developers and stakeholders. Serves as a project expert, thought leader, and strategic advisor to business stakeholders; Conducting project review and creating reports out for executive
- Risk and issue management : Escalate issues and delays, design mitigation plan when necessary
- Project documentation : Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Support testing, organize training and manage the implementation.
- Responsible to develop together with the business the processes around the new developments
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Master degree in Business Management
**Experience**:
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in a planning environment, retail/whls environment preferred
- Experience in Sales and operation environment is a plus.
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
- Strong Project management skill; exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
- Ability to think objectively and interpret themes from quantitative and qualitative data
- Good understanding of the retail apparel business
- Clear understanding of financial measurements and how to impact them
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Word, Visio, Jira - Whimsical, Mural/Miro is a plus

- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad, diverse group of business partners, mainly the cross-functional team
- Good listening, written and oral communication skills, reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Ability to communicate effectively, written and in presentation form as well as orally, with all levels of employees throughout the organization.
