In order to strengthen Kantify’s team, we are looking for a **Business Development Associate** (M/F) who will primarly be based in Belgium.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Business Development Associate, you will **play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new opportunities that align with Kantify's vision and strategic objectives.** This role is perfect for individuals who have a solid foundation of experience in a related field and are looking to expand their expertise and impact in the biotech industry. We are looking for someone eager to take on responsibilities and ownership, grow with the Company, and contribute to their mission by creating a positive impact on society through scientific innovation.
Your main responsibilities are:
- **_ Strategic Development_**: Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and collaborations to expand the Company’s reach and accelerate their mission.
- **_ Scientific Communication and Fundraising_**: Lead efforts in communicating the scientific advancements and capabilities to a broad audience, including potential partners, investors, and grant agencies. You will play a key role in fundraising activities and writing grant proposals to secure funding for our projects.
- **_ Collaboration and Networking_**: Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, representing Kantify at conferences and networking events.
- **_ Team Collaboration_**: Work closely with the R&D team to align business strategies with the scientific capabilities and objectives.
**Profile**:
- You hold a Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, or any related field.
- You have minimum of **1-3 years of relevant experience in business development**, scientific communication, fundraising, or a related role within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- A foundational **understanding of the drug development process**, especially in small molecules.
- You have strong **communication and writing skills**, capable of effectively presenting scientific concepts to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
- Reliability, ability to work remotely.
- Eagerness to learn and grow, as we constantly innovate and operate in a (positively) intellectually challenging environment at the crossroads between biotech and AI.
