About the job
- As Brand Manager in the global portfolio & innovation team, you take the lead & contribute to the key base brand business projects to ensure strong portfolio & innovation implementation cross-category. The plant-based base brand building includes plant-based flavoured drinks, yoghurts, cooking and dessert categories. You co-build & lead the business critical projects to ensure strong category & brand development locally, regionally & globally as well as enabling strong delivery to the different countries for business continuity in challenging circumstances. You take the lead in implementing some key business delivery projects in close cooperation with the local marketing teams & D2D in order to achieve the expected business results (sales volume, net sales and contribution) for the assigned category(ies)._
- You are part of the global Plant Based marketing team based in Ghent and report to a Marketing Manager._
In your role, you will be responsible for the following areas:
- Lead Innovation and renovation projects for the defined scope of PB portfolio
- You lead innovation projects in close collaboration with local marketing teams, global colleagues (S&I, R&I,IPRO, Operations..) from concept to shelf.
- You lead renovation projects & Design to protect superiority vs competitors and best profitability
- You steer the collaboration between local and global functions to make sure global projects fit local needs and create scale between countries
- Co-build & implement Provamel portfolio and innovation strategy
- You develop ideas for new products, line extensions or upgrades together with local marketing teams, central functions (packaging, R&D, etc.) and Supply Chain. You translate the idea into a product concept and pre-product charter, in order to enable effective innovation and renovations
- You lead the implementation of the innovation and renovation projects together with the IPRO team and Germany as a key country
- Analyse market dynamics and explore new business opportunities
- You develop a deep understanding of your dedicated scope based on local and global competitive analysis and consumer researches
- You propose new business opportunities based on the competitive analysis, understanding of local portfolio and emerging trends and players.
- Participation on key forums:
- You lead for your projects in the key meetings (EU implementation with countries, D2D Steerco with Operations and IPRO,)
About you
You hold a Master Degree, preferable in Marketing and you bring at least 3 years of marketing within a Food or FMCG environment. You have excellent Project Management skills and you like having impact in cross-functional projects
