**Location**:Antwerp, Belgium or near Antwerp and willing to commute when necessary.
**Reporting to**:Director IS Governance & Strategy
**Role Purpose**:
He/She will develop and implement cyber security governance and compliance policies, procedures and standards for Sibelco, and support the business in delivering on its goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that Sibelco's systems are maintained in a fully functional and secure mode and are compliant with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Communicate cybersecurity best practices and risks across the enterprise. Drive security awareness, education and conduct training to foster a security-aware culture across Sibelco.
- Develop and implement cyber security governance and compliance policies, procedures and standards to enable the business to operate effectively.
- Develop, plan, build and execute the Cyber security strategy and associated roadmap.
- Determine acceptable levels of Cyber risk for Sibelco and work with business and partners to implement controls that meet agreed-on policies and standards for information security.
- Ensure that only authorized people have access to restricted Sibelco's data and systems.
- Develop, review, oversee and implement identity and access management (IAM) policies, security governance policies, controls and cyber incident response planning.
- Ensure corporate technical compliance with all cyber security related statutes, regulations, and industry directives.
- Oversee all cybersecurity initiatives, and instruct operational processes for monitoring and maintaining information security.
- Responsible for budget execution of the company's cybersecurity programs in coordination with the overall financial plan.
- Oversee the planning, design, purchase, and rolling out security hardware and software across Sibelco
- Be a security spokesperson during design, build, and deploy of all projects.
- Hire, train and mentor cybersecurity team members.
- Determine acceptable levels of Cyber risk for Sibelco and work with business and partners to implement controls that meet agreed-on policies and standards for information security.
- Schedule independent security audits and lead cybersecurity exercises.
- Establish and manage a Cyber Risk Assessment program to define, identify, and classify critical assets, assess threats and vulnerabilities to those assets, and implement appropriate safeguards.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and routinely tested.
- Assist with discovery and digital forensic investigations, security violations and cyber incidents when the stakes are high.
- Review investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis, and prepare recommendations for avoiding future incidents.
- Ensure Cyber Security Risk Management is incorporated into the Technology utilising up-to-date information security management framework based on NIST and ISA-62443.
**About you**:
- Ideally 7 to 10 years of relevant experience including five years in a security management role
- Showcase a good understanding of the business enabling to translate business requirements into system requirements in an adequate way.
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all corporate levels, including at the executive level.
- Possess an excellent knowledge of, and background in, IT security technologies and regulations.
- A degree in IT or related field is an advantage.
