Auditeur IT Senior

As part of an audit of the communications chain, our client is looking for an experienced IT auditor for an assignment lasting 8 to 10 weeks, ideally from September to November/December 2023.
The assignment will be carried out jointly with an internal auditor and supervised by the head of the Internal Audit department.
Additional days of on-site presence may be requested from the consultant, depending on the needs of the department (on an ad hoc basis).
Our client manages the electricity and gas distribution networks in more than 200 Walloon municipalities. Our client is also involved in the management of public lighting in the communes. Our client is currently facing a number of challenges of various kinds, including energy, customer focus and technology. The success of these challenges is essential to ensure the energy transition and to meet the expectations of the users of our services.
**Tasks**
- On the basis of the validated assignment sheet and in accordance with the client Internal Audit Management procedure
- Formalise the audit programme on the basis of risks, controls and objectives
- On the basis of audit tests, identify strengths and weaknesses and make recommendations
- In consultation with the audited management, identify action plans to address identified weaknesses
- On the basis of the client audit methodology, assess the current level of maturity
- Consolidate the findings, recommendations, action plans and maturity in an audit report and present this report at the audit exit meetings
- Transfer knowledge to the internal auditor co-managing the assignment.
**Education and experience**
- Degree in information technology or equivalent through experience (concrete and in-depth IT technical knowledge)
- CISA certification is an asset
- At least 5 years' proven experience as an IT auditor
- Fluency in French
- Knowledge of the utilities sector is a plus
- Excellent listening, analytical and summarising skills
