We are a high growth FinTech startup which is recognised and backed by European's leading banking institutes and accelerators.
While the world is digitising rapidly, the industry of mortgage loans is lagging behind. We did the research and borrowers are spending days and a lot of paper on getting a mortgage loan. If you know that each year 7 million mortgages () are closed, that's a lot of wasted time and trees...But this can be changed
With Oper, we are bringing the mortgage industry to the 21st century. We support the mortgage industry to digitise the process from the first contact to the mortgage contract. We do this by offering a turnkey, white-label SaaS solution. Our solution helps the industry to decrease their processing times and to delight their end-clients. Using our solution borrowers can focus on buying the perfect house.
Oper was founded 2 years ago and has helped mortgage providers in 3 European countries to sell better mortgages. Today the company operates out of offices in Antwerp (Belgium), Zürich (Switzerland) and London (UK). In January 2020, the company received strategic investments from Barclays (UK) and renowned startup-accelerator TechStars (US).
Tasks
We're looking for a Marketing Manager who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. What will you do:
- Create a marketing strategy for our product, building out differentiated technical content and demonstration scenarios that enable thought leadership
- Lead efforts to market to technical practitioners by deeply understanding their needs and use cases
- Create messaging and user experiences that drive engagement, product usage, and retention
- Create content to support marketing campaigns, website pages, and in-product experiences for our users
- Develop and test product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market and competitive insights, and product understanding
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Data Science teams to track product awareness, adoption, and engagement
- You will be part of a self-organized team
**Requirements**:
- Experience working in small startups with limited resources
- Strong communication skills to internal and external audiences
- Creativity is something you leverage to get to talk with someone
- Experience or interest to work with Marketing, Sales and Analytics tools
- Willingness to communicate and share your knowledge with other team members
- Since our team is currently being developed from scratch, we need pragmatic people
