We are looking for a **Head GxP Learning Development Solution **who will be a Change Enabler and Leader supporting UCB’s continued Patient Value Strategy Journey by Embedding Quality into UCB GxP Training and Learning to join us in our **QA team**.

**About the role**

Reporting directly to the Head of Quality Systems & Intelligence, the Head GxP Learning Development Solution provides leadership and strategy to ensure that UCB personnel can receive the requisite knowledge, guidance and experience related to GxPs to fulfill their job responsibilities in accordance with UCB quality standards, guidelines, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements and therefore ensure that Development Solutions teams are compliant with training requirements derived from GxP regulation.

The job comprises three main responsibilities:

- Leadership for GxP Learning strategy & GxP staff qualification standards in close collaboration with an enterprise-wide network of stakeholders.
- A Leader role for Operational GxP Learning across Development Solutions.

**Who will you work with**

Reporting directly to the Head of Quality Systems & Intelligence, the Head GxP Learning will join a team of 10 persons and collaborate closely with strategic internal and external partners.

**What will you do?**
- Provide strategic direction to and oversee the corporate Staff Qualification process in the GxP regulated environment comprising the use of global procedures, templates, key performance indicators, training, network, regulatory intelligence and agreed software tools.
- Provide leadership for Development Solutions training and documentation activities focusing on establishing a lean process to fulfill customer requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive GxP learning strategy which implies patient centricity, simplicity, compliance, cost effectiveness, measurable, customer focus.
- Create, as needed, simplified, efficient processes and procedures to support the team’s activities.
- Establish key performance indicators (quality metrics) associated with Learning in Development Solutions and report to Development Solution and Quality Leadership Teams.
- Coach and lead a team of Learning Developer and Operations Quality professionals (and their supporting resources) by providing leadership, senior advice, support and management for learning developing and/or operations strategy, tactical and operational activities and general QA matters.
- Collaborate with Development Solutions, QMS lead, Regulatory Intelligence Network lead and their business partners to ensure adequate GxP training program is in place.
- Ensure continual update of expertise and activities to respond to new trends or regulatory expectations or audit/inspection findings, analyze processes, tools, and deficiencies and initiate improvements.
- Act as coach and mentor for the team. Develop the competencies of team members to unleash their potential.
- Work in accordance with UCB HSE and Corporate policy requirements and drive personal training and development activities to meet the needs of the business and professional career development.

**Interested? For this role we are looking for the following education, experience and skills**
- Master Degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferably and partly in a Quality role, including knowledge on learning principles, project management, quality systems management.
- Deep understanding of quality aspects, knowledge of GxP and applicable regulatory framework.
- Experience in leading complex projects and meeting project-and-team related timelines and managed allocated budget(s).
- Must have excellent verbal and written English/French communication skills.
