As part of its activities, our client is looking for a Support to the I&O Director.

This is a full-time assignment for a minimum of 1 year (with the possibility of extensions), starting as soon as possible.

Part of the assignment may, in consultation with the manager, involve teleworking, but a minimum presence of 2 days per week on the Gosselies site is mandatory. Additional days of on-site presence may be requested from the consultant, depending on the needs of the department. As the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, a driving license and a vehicle are required for travel.

**Main mission**

The I&O department operates as the provider and operational manager of our client' server, datacom and digital workplace infrastructure.

I&O Director Support supports the I&O Director (Infrastructures & Operations) in the management and coordination of operations and technology infrastructures. The role of I&O Director Support is to provide administrative and technical support to the I&O Director in the execution of his responsibilities.

**Main tasks**
- Communications management: The I&O Director Support is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing communications concerning I&O.
- Document preparation: The I&O Manager Support assists in the preparation and drafting of documents such as summaries, reports, presentations, standard operating procedures and dashboards. He/she is also responsible for collecting and analyzing data to support operational decisions.
- Diary management: The I&O Director Support manages the I&O Director's diary, scheduling meetings, appointments. He ensures that the Director is informed of his schedule and assists him in preparing meetings by providing the necessary information and documents.
- Coordination of activities: The I&O Manager Support may be involved in the coordination of I&O activities, helping to monitor schedules, organize related meetings, manage documentation and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operational Technical Support: The I&O Manager Support may provide basic technical support to the I&O Manager, including assisting with the handling and resolution of managerial escalations.

**Skills required**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project / Portfolio Support Officer type role within an operational IT infrastructure department.
- Good technical knowledge of I&O
- Good command of the Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer orientation
