**The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?**

VMware is looking for a Cloud Provider Manager for the BeNeLux with responsibility for driving our Cloud Provider business in the region. As a Cloud Provider Manager you will work with the BeLux Core Sales, Specialists and VMware Cloud Provider Program (VCPP) Partners. The purpose is to be owning specialist accounts in BeLux and will recruiting new partners into VMware’s Cloud Provider Program.

Each Partner will bring a variety of challenges and opportunities, demanding all of your skills and experience to engage across stakeholders and business processes.

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months that you will work toward completing?**
- You will be managing Partner relations and opportunities every single day, in collaboration with your virtual team, and be expected to build and sustain a pipeline of business across existing and new Partner accounts, leveraging the full breadth of the VMware solutions portfolio of software, and managed services
- Making an impact early at VMware relies on 4 core elements;
- Establishing relationships with colleagues across all business units in VMware and Partners
- Building a solid knowledge and understanding of our portfolio of offerings
- Guide our Partners can build their own services, based on these products, and managed services, which can be jointly sold to end customers with a consumption-obsessed mindset
- Your primary focus will be to ensure our Partners and customers achieve true return on their investments
- You will focus on Cloud Providers and Solution Provider - existing and net new - where you need to continue and grow an already established relationship and business, as well as having the freedom to develop new opportunities
- By the end of your first 12 months at VMware, you should be seeing growth of MRR (monthly recurring revenue) per Partner, a healthy pipeline to build the future on, and a significant presence and impact with both your Partners and the colleagues with whom you work.

**The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- As a Cloud Provider Manager is mainly working with and developing existing and net new Partners in the territory. You will be using your knowledge about our products and managed services, industry trends and competition to drive adoption of VMware technologies that generate true consumption of our licenses and complimentary services revenue
- You will engage with your Aggregators and Partners to develop business strategy, service definitions, field sales enablement and go-to-market activities
- A proper business planning with your key Partners will help you achieve/exceed goals
- You will develop and maintain effective senior leadership relations
- You will leverage and closely work with extended teams for sales, marketing, technical, programs and legal resources to accelerate the business
- Successful Cloud Provider Managers are effectively managing a marketing budget and executing joint field sales and marketing activities
- You will create and manage relationships with VMware field sales and the Channel team to ensure business acceleration and co-operation
- As part of a team, your contribution is key to sharing best practice and building industry wide success stories for the wider business to learn and leverage.

The hiring manager for this Cloud Provider Manager role is Henry Godwin, Director, Cloud Provider Business, Northern EMEA leading teams based across UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland/Baltics, Luxembourg, Belgium and Netherlands. He leads this partner channel team of 16 Cloud Provider Managers and Managed Services Specialists, supported by a team of Solutions Architects (SA’s) and Cloud Business Strategists.

Henry Godwin brings a coaching-led management style, built on over 25 years of experience of direct and mainly indirect I.T. Channel sales. Henry has built his career leading teams through transformational change, with a background of bringing new products, services and commercial offerings to market.

Henry believes in the talents of each individual and empowers them to create a motivated team where everyone has an equal voice and contributes to overall success and stimulates personal growth.

The team is based across Northern EMEA and is regularly connecting for team engagement, pipeline development, project calls, 1:1 coaching and learning sessions.
