Functie
- De Project Manager Business Excellence maakt de BU Agri & Horti performanter en streeft naar de meest efficiënte processen en organisatie.

De Project Manager maakt deel uit van het directiecomité Agri & Horti en rapporteert rechtsreeks aan de BU Directeur. Hij werkt nauw samen met de Sales, Logistieke en Product directeurs en de operationele managers die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de logistieke, administratieve en productie processen.

De Project Manager is de spilfiguur tussen de BU Agri & Horti en IT. Hij/zij vertaalt de noden van de organisatie naar IT en omgekeerd.

Zijn kernopdracht bestaat uit volgende zaken:

- Procesmatige en organisatorische synergiën identificeren binnen de BU Agri & Horti en met andere entiteiten binnen Arvesta en deze vertalen naar concrete verbeterprogramma’s met P&L impact
- Aansturen van de verbeterprojecten voor Agri & Horti vanuit een business perspectief (hele project life cycle vanaf het uitwerken van het initieel verbeteridee tot en met het organiseren van de nazorg na de implementatie)
- Een mentaliteit van operational excellence en continue verbetering implementeren bij het management en alle operationele medewerkers binnen de BU Agri Horti
- Operationele efficiëntie targets afstemmen met de verantwoordelijken van de andere bedrijfsfuncties binnen de BU en met andere partijen, en de opvolging ervan faciliteren
- Uitrollen van herkenbare methodologieën voor proces, project en performance management
- Afstemmen van business case, scope, requirements, tijdslijn en budget met alle project stakeholders
- Opzetten van de passende project governance processen en waken over de correcte uitvoering ervan
- Zorgvuldig en proactief inplannen van de business activiteiten binnen een project, in balans met de operationele prioriteiten van de business teams
- Identificeren van de procesmatige en organisatorische impact van een project

Profiel
Min. 5 jaar ervaring als Project Manager (bij voorkeur vanuit een business perspectief) in een vergelijkbare bedrijfsomgeving
- Zichtbare dynamische leider - die volledig ownership neemt over de uitvoering van een project - in staat om te overtuigen zonder hiërarchische autoriteit
- Brede kennis van bedrijfsprocessen vereist, ervaring als functioneel analyst is sterke plus, ervaring binnen een ERP context is een plus
- Gecertifieerd als Project Manager in een gekende project methodologie (Prince2,)
- Pragmatische problem solver - proactieve planner
- Aantoonbare ervaring met het definiëren en aansturen van verbeteringsprogramma’s
- Focus op duurzame, kwalitatieve, eenvoudige processen - pragmatisch houding
- Sterke communicator die in staat is om een mentaliteitsverandering te weeg te brengen
