Als Customs Specialist sta je in voor de correcte uitvoering en opvolging van alle douaneaangiftes in overeenstemming met de geldende douanewetgeving. Je waakt over een vlotte import- en exportafhandeling en zorgt voor een nauwkeurige rapportering van de douaneactiviteiten. Op basis van deze rapporten onderneem je de nodige acties om compliance en efficiëntie te garanderen. - key responsibilities Jouw verantwoordelijkheden 1. Import - Opvolgen van inkomende zendingen en coördineren met expediteurs - Correct en tijdig verstrekken van importinstructies en afstemmen met Supply Planning en/of Customer Service - Indienen van conforme en correcte importaangiftes bij de bevoegde autoriteiten - Tijdige en correcte communicatie met douaneautoriteiten - Behandelen van specifieke importdocumentatie en ondersteunen bij douanevragen - Oplossen van betwistingsdossiers - Informeren van interne en externe stakeholders over importactiviteiten - Zorgen voor een correcte naleving en actualisatie van SOP’s en werkinstructies - Samenwerken met externe partners binnen het inboundproces 2. Export - Coördineren van exportactiviteiten en aanleveren van correcte exportinstructies (EDIS) aan expediteurs - Zorgen voor een correcte en tijdige elektronische indiening van exportaangiftes - Behandelen van specifieke exportdocumentatie en ondersteunen bij vragen van douaneautoriteiten - Onderhouden van SOP’s en werkinstructies - Opstellen en afleveren van ATR-certificaten - Terugkoppeling geven aan stakeholders over exportdossiers - Indien van toepassing: doorgeven van aangiftes van preferentiële oorsprong aan Customer Service - Samenwerken met externe partners binnen het outboundproces 3. Rapportering - Dagelijks bijhouden van voorraadadministratie - Uitvoeren van periodieke voorraadcontroles van goederen onder douanetoezicht - Verantwoordelijk voor de jaarlijkse afsluiting van de voorraadadministratie 4. Audit & Compliance - Tijdig en correct aanleveren van informatie in het kader van audits - Opvolgen van KPI’s en nemen van acties om compliance te waarborgen - Correct documenteren van processen in SOP’s en werkinstructies 5. Projecten & Continue Verbetering - Actieve deelname aan en ondersteuning van team- en bedrijfsprojecten - Continu optimaliseren van werkmethodes volgens OPEX-principes Prestatie-indicatoren (KPI’s) - Hoge kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid van het werk om vertragingen te vermijden - Geen douane- of andere boetes dankzij correcte administratie - Respecteren van vooropgestelde deadlines en tijdige escalatie - Naleving van procedures en bedrijfswaarden - Tijdig afronden van verplichte opleidingen - qualifications Profiel Opleiding & ervaring - Bachelor- of masterdiploma, of gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring - Bij voorkeur ervaring binnen Supply Chain of de logistieke sector Talenkennis - Vlotte mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van Nederlands, Engels en Frans IT-vaardigheden - Sterke PC-vaardigheden (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) - Grondige kennis van SAP of andere ERP-systemen is een plus Competenties - Stressbestendig en in staat om onder druk deadlines te halen - Nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsgericht - Sterke communicatieve en probleemoplossende vaardigheden - Teamplayer met een proactieve houding - Resultaatgericht, flexibel en sterk gemotiveerd share this job.
