Business Development Manager for Automotive Clients

Punch Powertrain, a global leader in innovative powertrains, seeks a skilled Account Manager Automotive to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires a driven individual with a passion for the automotive industry and a proven track record in sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue new business opportunities based on the company's strategic customer plan, leveraging commercial and technical expertise
- Secure new contracts by managing RFQs, negotiating with customers, and promoting Punch Powertrain's products and services
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, prioritizing customer satisfaction while safeguarding Punch interests
- Serve as the voice of the customer, facilitating open communication and coordination between Punch Powertrain and the customer
- Nurture a robust network at all levels, including top management within the customer organization
- Deliver high-quality sales presentations, highlighting the value proposition of Punch Powertrain's products and services
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive commercial actions and ensure effective project execution
- Provide valuable insights on customer developments and business opportunities to the internal team, informing pricing strategies and target settings
- Coordinate and facilitate customer visits, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), proficiency in Dutch, French, and/or German is a plus
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Account Manager in the Automotive industry
- Proven track record in sales and account management, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Commercial and technical expertise, with a deep understanding of the automotive industry
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving business growth and customer satisfaction
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Confidence in delivering sales presentations and engaging with customers
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously develop skills
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate across departments
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity, informing strategic decisions
