Overview

Gentis is a pioneering company at the forefront of bioplastics development, driven by a mission to create a profitable PLA business.

\

In this role, you will play a key part in our success story by developing and implementing new market applications through strategic partnerships along the entire value chain.

\

New Business Development

\

You will identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with our strategy roadmap and guide them through the sales funnel. This involves setting up partnerships with various actors to support the development and validation of new PLA-based solutions in existing and/or new market areas.

\

Close collaboration with the marketing team and application development team ensures that adapted technical solutions are developed and offered to customers.

\

Sales

\

Manage relationships with prospects/customers throughout all phases of the project and negotiate commercial contracts at launch phase. You will also understand and validate market size and the entire value chain when entering a new industry/market in collaboration with the marketing team.

\

Market Development:

\

Participate in trade shows, conferences, and engage with stakeholders to promote PLA, fostering collaborations and partnerships.

\

Requirements

\

Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Engineering required. A minimum of five years' experience in business development and sales with a proven track record. Technical background with experience in plastics/bioplastics industry (packaging, automotive, healthcare, etc.) Autonomous, team player with an agile mindset.

\

Language Skills

\

French and English mandatory. German and/or Italian would be a plus.
