Asset Management – Transition Manager (M/F/X)

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Asset Management – Transition Manager to strengthen the ITAM team and support the efficient management of IT assets, as well as ongoing transition and optimization initiatives.

Mission
As a Transition Manager / IT Asset Manager , you will be responsible for the management and enrichment of the CMDB, license compliance, Shadow IT monitoring, and coordination of ITAM transition activities. You will play a key role in process improvement and in establishing a reliable governance framework around IT assets.

Main Responsibilities
Asset & CMDB Management
Manage, maintain, and update the CMDB
Enrich data through Intune and Nexthink
Perform regular cross-checks between inventories and monitoring tools
Oversee the asset lifecycle and ensure data accuracy

Software Asset Management
Manage software licenses and related contracts
Monitor and enforce software compliance
Detect and manage underused software
Identify and prevent Shadow IT

Transition Management
Contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of ITAM services
Coordinate with ITSM, procurement, security, and infrastructure teams
Support governance structuring and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure proper documentation, knowledge sharing, and process alignment

Skills & Profile
Technical Skills
ServiceNow expertise
Knowledge of Nexthink, Intune, and SNOW
Good understanding of SAP order management processes
Proficiency with O365
ITIL Foundation v4 certification

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in ITAM, Transition, or IT Operations
Solid understanding of ITSM processes and Asset Management best practices

Languages
French: C1
Dutch: B2
English : B1

Strong attention to data quality and accuracy
Analytical mindset with a focus on optimization
Excellent communication with both technical and business teams
Autonomous, proactive, and able to manage transversal projects
