In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Generating new business opportunities by visiting customers, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that contribute to their operations. Gathering customer insights and collaborating with internal teams to develop a project-based approach in coordination with our consultants. Aligning with sales leadership to define focus areas and implement a prioritized strategic business development plan. Providing technical support to both internal and external customers when needed, and coordinating with subject matter experts to ensure effective solutions. Leading and supporting sales initiatives while representing Emerson at industry events and conferences as a professional brand ambassador. Who You Are: You actively listen and check for understanding, and you adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse partners. You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings.  You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience Proven sales / business development experience in a B2B technical environment  Background in industrial automation /process industries  Affinity towards technology and innovations and technical understanding, ideally DCS systems  CRM & MS Office tools Proficiency in Dutch and English language is essential Availability to frequently travel in the assigned territory and occasionally in Europe Driving license Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:  Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units In-depth knowledge of at least one major Industry such as chemical, pharma, petrochemical, oil&gas or similar  Our Culture & Commitment to You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
