**RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the CluePoints Research team at our Belgian offices, you act as a research project manager and ensure the coordination of daily activities for research projects. Research projects include the development of new Statistical/Machine Learning algorithms and software solutions for the CluePoints Monitoring Platform. You:
- Work with the VP Research and Research Managers to define and maintain project plan and project schedule for research project(s)
- Track project activities and ensure research projects stay on schedule
- Coordinate project communication, tasks, and follow-ups with internal/external stakeholders
- Support development and delivery of formal communications and presentations to internal/external stakeholders
- Pro-actively identify project enablers/risks/issues and initiate appropriate (corrective) actions. Ensure issues are addressed in a timely fashion
- Ensure proper documentation of project activities within dedicated research-owned information libraries/repositories (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)
- Drive cross-functional collaboration including the organization of regular and targeted meetings with other teams (Operations, Product, Customer Success,). Prepare agendas, document and track all follow-up items
- Ensure projects are carried out following research Standard Operating Procedures to reach research quality standards
- Develop and maintain a solid working understanding of clinical operations and clinical data, the CluePoints platform, and Research methods (Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Statistics, Business Intelligence & Data Visualization)
- Identify process improvements in the management of projects, information and communications within the Research department.
SKILLS
- 5+ years post-master experience with a minimum of 3+ years experience in project management or consulting including the ability to oversee and lead successful technical projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to speak with stakeholders and communicate with technical and non-technical groups
- Good understanding of research and innovation
- Fluency in English is required
QUALIFICATION
- Master in a quantitative field (Engineering/Informatics/Mathematics/Physics/(Bio)Chemistry)
- A first experience in SAAS/Cloud-based solutions is a plus
- Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Stong interest in Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Visualization or Software Development
- Occasional travel is required
