**Who we are supporting**

The NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

The NCIA provides a wide range of services, including:

- Cyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats.
- Command and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations.
- Satellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces.
- Electronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks.

Overall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities.

**Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS)**

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO's principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.

To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.

**Role Background**

NCIA CSU Brussels - Coherence Branch

Within the Agency CIS Support Unit (CSU) Brussels provides consistent, reliable and cost-effective ICT service delivery to all NATO customers located in the NATO compound in Brussels, including understanding and managing the interface with the Secretary General and Deputy Director General International Military Staff (DG IMS), through his/her delegated representatives ICTM/EXCO IMS, who act in the role of Intelligent Customer. The Coherence (COH) Branch supports the Agency's Demand Management (DM) organization, and is responsible for liaison with all customers in the CSU's AoR and supports the Commander CSU in the role as NCI Agency representative and provides a single entry point for customers. The Coherence Branch contributes and/or conducts monitoring and measurement of customer satisfaction. SMB supports the management of all agreements concerning Service Provision, Operations and Exercises within the CSU AoR. The Coherence Branch supports Service Lines in the implementation and improvement of service management processes.

NCIA CSU Brussels - Coherence Branch - Service Transition Team

Within the Coherence Branch, the Service Transition Team is responsible for the Change Management, Configuration Management and Project Coordination and Project Management. Under the direction of the Head of the Branch and the Service Transition Manager, the Project Manager (PM) leads the entire lifecycle on project with low/moderate complexity for projects related to CSU Brussels and NATO HQ within scope, schedule and budget. The PM is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and tracking of project. Depending the project, the PM leads project teams, and communicates with stakeholders and reports on project progress in various meeting

**Role Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manages projects with low/moderate complexity;
- Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of these projects;
- Works according to predictive (plan-driven) or adaptive (iterative/agile) approach;
- Create and maintain project plan according the ongoing project implementation
- Prepare the Monday's planning meeting to display and present the activities of the week to the staff.
- Create the Slides for the weekly Operations Meeting with feedback of all ongoing projects.
- Create the documentation for the in processing of the material of project deliverables.
- For each ongoing project, create and file the minutes of the periodic (weekly/fortnightly) project meetings.
